Personalized Tutoring

Tutor Together provides private 1-to-1 tutoring designed to build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and support meaningful progress. Led by certified teacher Colleen Vorst, with over 13 years of teaching experience, Tutor Together serves students and families in Scottsdale, Tempe, and the Greater Phoenix area. Tutor Together is also an approved Arizona ESA vendor, allowing eligible families to use ESA funds for tutoring services.

Private Tutoring Services

Every student learns differently. Tutor Together offers personalized academic support tailored to each student’s needs, goals, and pace. Whether a student needs help strengthening foundational skills, preparing for an exam, staying organized, or receiving support alongside a learning plan, tutoring is designed to be thoughtful, encouraging, and effective.

    Support is available in reading, grammar, social studies, science, and math, with instruction tailored to help students build understanding and confidence.

  • IEP and 504 Support
    Tutor Together works to support students with varied learning needs by providing patient, personalized instruction that complements classroom goals and accommodations.

  • Online School Support
    For students enrolled in online learning, tutoring can provide accountability, guidance, and consistent academic reinforcement.

About the Tutor

My name is Colleen Vorst, and I am a certified teacher with over 13 years of experience in international, public, and charter schools. Over the course of my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of grade levels, abilities, and learning needs—from 1st-grade intervention reading programs to high school career-readiness classes.Those years in education have equipped me to support students with both academic growth and personal confidence. I understand that every learner is different, and I believe effective tutoring should be personalized, patient, and encouraging.Most importantly, I truly care about my students. Building strong relationships, helping students overcome challenges, and experiencing the joy of learning alongside them are some of the things I value most as an educator.
